Magic Magpie wallpapers and wall decals are made using polyester fabric material with an adhesive back. The material offers a lightly textured, matte finish and can be installed on virtually any flat surface.
Our products are non-toxic, eco-friendly and are perfectly suited to living environments. They can be re-positioned and re-used without leaving sticky residue and without tearing, making it versatile and easy to update or relocate.
They sure are! Whether your child has outgrown their room, or your style has changed – our products can be removed and reused for numerous applications; when you re-apply them, they look brand new making them the perfect landlord-friendly solution for renters or for those who don’t want to commit to the same design for years to come. We suggest keeping the backing paper, in the event you are moving house or would like to reposition or relocate your wallpaper/decals. You can simply stick back onto the backing paper and roll up for easy transport. Our products can be removed and replaced multiple times, however, as soon as they are removed, they should be stuck down to the original backing paper so the adhesive side of the material is not exposed to dust or dirt. Once the adhesive collects too much dust, dirt or fibres it will become less effective and the wallpaper may not stick as well to your surface.
All of our wallpapers and decals are high quality. They will not weaken over time and will not shrink/curl/bubble/rip/wrinkle like other materials.
Despite every effort to provide accurate images of each products colour, actual colours may vary slightly due to different device screen settings, the lighting in the installation location and other factors. Please allow for slight variances in colours to what may be displayed on some screens.

We are based in Melbourne, Australia and all of our products are made in-house. We print to order and every single order is made speedily, and is quality checked!
YES! We always have the environment in mind and operate as eco-friendly as possible: from using high quality polyester fabric, non-toxic adhesive material & latex inks, to choosing eco-friendly packaging. Our products are environmentally safe and bio-degradable over time. We also use environmentally friendly packaging as often as possible. Our mailing boxes are 100% recyclable (please use them again, they are great for storage and safe keeping of any decals/wallpapers) and our bubble wrap is biodegradable.
We are always open to collaborating with other amazing businesses, artists, brand reps, Interior Stylists and influencers.

Standard Decals - At this time Magic Magpie do not offer custom standard decal orders.
Arch Decals - Yes! We offer custom sizes and colours.

A wallpaper design fee is required before the design process begins.
Design Fee Inclusions:
- Briefing session with client (client to supply any inspirational images)
- Design concept presentation for client approval
- Design finalisation (up to 2x rounds of revisions)
- Design proof for client approval (includes mockup of final design & wallpaper quote)
Design Terms & Conditions:
- The design fee is quoted based on the amount of work involved in the design.
- Additional revisions are charged at $50 per hour.
- Payment of design fee is required before the design process begins.
- The design fee is non-refundable.

Installation FAQs
Yes. No need to hire a handyman! Simply peel and stick. No mess and no sticky glue like traditional wallpaper!
• Measure the width and height of the wall where you would like to apply the wallpaper and select the appropriate measurements at checkout.
• Please add an extra 10cm to your wall height and width. This gives you enough overhang to work through any troubling uneven walls and ceilings. Overhang will be trimmed off at the end of installation.
• Each drop is 60cm wide (plus 1cm overlap) x the height you have selected.
• Please ensure you accurately measure your wall and double check before ordering as all wallpapers are made to order and can’t be changed once printed.
• When entering your measurements at checkout we suggest allowing a little extra as this can always be trimmed off later. It’s better to have too much than not enough!

Magic Magpie products are not recommended for brick, non-painted cement surfaces or heavy painted spackled wall board.
They are also not recommended for Wash&Wear and Teflon paints as they may not provide adequate adhesion for our products. If you are unsure what your walls are painted with and would like to test adhesion suitability, we recommend ordering a Sample Pack first. Avoid placement above fireplaces.

If your walls are painted with Wash&Wear or Teflon paint, we advise you prime walls prior to installation. We recommend Viponds Self Adhesive Prep Coat which is available for purchase here. If you are unsure what your walls are painted with, we strongly suggest ordering a sample pack to test adhesion suitability prior to purchasing or checking with your paint manufacturer’s call centre to ensure self-adhesive peel and stick wallpaper will stick to your type of walls. Please allow newly painted surfaces to fully cure for a minimum of 40 days before applying any wallpapers or decals. This allows time for out-gassing.

Our products are 95% blockout making them great for overlapping and hiding marked or bright coloured walls.
To clean, please use a soft, dry cloth and gently wipe. All of our products are printed with latex water-based ink so please do not use any water or harsh chemicals when cleaning (this will remove the ink!)

Production & Shipping FAQs
All Magic Magpie products are made-to-order and produced and printed right here in Melbourne, Australia. This means that the manufacturing process begins only after a confirmed customer order is received and each order is produced according to the customers order specifications (no stock is held).
Please allow 1-3 weeks for production PLUS delivery/shipping for all products.
Tracking information will be provided once your order has been shipped.
Please note that turnaround times may be longer in the lead up to Christmas / Easter, over the Christmas / Easter break, after a sale or when we take a holiday.
Standard shipping on all orders is $15
Express Shipping on all orders is $20
